CLASSIC SUMMER WEDDING AT THE CROFTON COUNTRY CLUB

Another love story coming at ya! Rachele and Brendan had their beautiful Crofton Country Club wedding this past weekend and their day and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. You know, not too hot, not too cold, sunny and glowy! This was the second time I had the pleasure of photographing a Crofton Country Club wedding and I love that this time I was also able to create a completely different look within the same location.

Rachele is a long-time best friend of one of my best friends, my super talented boss-lady Alex Mandato, and since she was one of the bridesmaids, she couldn’t be the photographer. We started our day at Rachele’s parents’ home where all the girls and the pups were hanging out, including Cam, the best dog who is so chill and so sweet posing for photos, which you’ll see below!

Some of Rachele’s details included an adorable vintage ring box and a gorgeous ring that belonged to her grandmother, an ahhh-mazing hand-painted bottle of Veuve I am obsessed with, and geode Mr. and Mrs, place cards for their sweetheart table.

While I was with the girls, my super-duper second photographer was with Brendan, and the guys getting his photos done with the groomsmen and his groom portraits. I often tell my couples having a second photographer is like having superpowers, so you can “be” in two places at once. Their ceremony was sweet and heartfelt, their officiant was Rachele’s longtime friend (Also Cat), and has known them both for a very long time.

And even though they had a first look (tear-free) as I stood at the end of the aisle with Brendan, we could tell how much that moment meant to him as he fought back a few tears, which was so heartfelt. Many couples are afraid that having a first look will take away from that moment, and they’re here to prove that is not true! You can get your nerves out, get photos done beforehand, AND still have your aisle moment, it’s like having your cake, with a cherry on top, and eating it too.
