Details of the Grounds
From nature-filled outdoor weddings to upscale indoor ceremonies, River Creek Club is there for it all! Couples who prefer climate control indoors can use the Chesapeake Ballroom. This gorgeous space features high ceilings, large windows, and an outdoor veranda your guests can use once your ceremony has ended.
There is a private events room that stays on-theme with the Ballroom, giving you large windows that invite in the breathtaking views. The walls are neutral so you can add your own decorations without fear of it clashing.
For an outdoor wedding, you can use the veranda outside the Ballroom. This will give you breathtaking views while giving your party lots of shade. If you would prefer something on the ground, speak to the venue, and they’ll help you find the perfect space.
Most receptions are held inside the Ballroom. This stunning room gives you plenty of space to mingle with your guests before it’s time to head over to the dance floor. The veranda serves as a great space to go out and catch your breath before heading back inside. For a fully outdoor reception, you can use the veranda for your dinner space. No matter the size of your party, the venue has the right spot for you. The Potomac event space will hold up to 170 guests, while the Ballroom will hold up to 300 guests. The outdoor veranda will hold up to 150 guests.

The venue has a full bar you will be able to use throughout this portion of your day. Your guests will have access to pretty much every specialty cocktail you can imagine! You can also speak to the venue about setting up your cocktail hour outdoors, either on the lower patio or on the veranda.
The venue offers on-site dressing rooms so you can have a space to freshen up. Have some champagne and finish getting ready with your bridal party before it’s time for your ceremony to begin!
River Creek Club provides you with a refined setting for every aspect of your event. The club itself has a wooden exterior with a stone foundation. The back of the club has two stories with a white patterned railing across the upper veranda. The area overlooks the expansive golf course. The interior of the Potomac features raised ceilings and an off-white wall. There is a gray patterned carpet and a white fireplace. The Chesapeake Ballroom gives you tall, off-white walls, elegant black chandeliers, gray patterned carpet, and a white fireplace. You will also have a parquet dance floor.

The venue has several favorite spots for wedding portraits. They will give you full access to the golf course for your pictures. The grounds contain gardens with a quiet gazebo overlooking the water. This is the ideal spot for couple’s pictures as well as individual portraits. Inside, you’ll have a grand staircase you can use for your first look or for portraits capturing the rich details of your gown. The entryway leading into the club is another ideal spot to sneak a kiss. Not only are you going to have the meticulous landscaping surrounding you, but you will also have the club as a backdrop to celebrate your choice of venue. You can also use the lake on the course and have the entirety of the club standing guard in the background. Lastly, the veranda lets you take pictures overlooking the grounds.

Wedding Details
Beyond providing you with a luxurious setting, River Creek Club is going to make it a breeze to plan your wedding. They allow anyone to have their wedding at the clubhouse and have a faculty fee for non-members. The venue will take care of both set-up and clean-up. They will provide everything you need, including tables, chairs, linens, barware, glassware, and centerpieces. Throughout your wedding, you will have a day-of coordinator as well as an on-site manager. The venue will provide the catering and will work with you to create your menu. They also offer complimentary cake-cutting services. They will offer additional tables for your DJ, your cake, and your gifts. You will be able to have a reception lasting up to 5 hours.
