An Enchanting Rustic BlueBird Manor Wedding in Adamstown, MD!

Rustic weddings can be positively dreamy. You can take a simple space and completely elevate it with your dream decor. The only issue is that the wrong venue can take the concept of a primitive space a little too far. You want your guests to be able to enjoy their night rather than sweat the evening away in a poorly ventilated space. As a Maryland wedding photographer, I get the chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at countless venues. While I have seen some pretty amazing rustic venues, there are few that have captured my attention quite like BlueBird Manor. This farm setting gives you a gorgeous space as well as top-of-the-line accommodations for your wedding day.

About The BlueBird Manor Wedding Venue

1765A Greenfield Road, Adamstown, Maryland 21710

Located on over 180 acres just outside Frederick, BlueBird Manor gives you a unique space for your wedding day. The original barn was originally built in 1880 and has been renovated over the years. The owners, Carol and Glenn, and their daughter, Bailey, always adored using the spot to host friends’ weddings. Before long, they decided they wanted to expand and let other couples use the space as well. While the surrounding farm is still actively working, the space has been equipped for dreamy events. They have converted an additional barn into a chapel and have built get-ready suites for your big day. The result is a breathtaking and historical area with all the amenities you need for the wedding of your dreams.

Details of the Grounds

The BlueBird Manor exterior gives you plenty of space to have the wedding you’ve always wanted. The yard in front of the red barn has a towering tree, and many couples decide to use this area as the space to exchange vows. You will have a flat and open space where you can set your chairs and add your own unique decorations. Other couples prefer to use the willow tree in front of the Chandelier Barn for their wedding space. For those who would prefer an indoor wedding, the Chapel is your ideal spot. This intimate space features white walls and ceilings, wooden support beams, and wooden floors. The front of the room has a crisp white barn door you can decorate however you’d like. While the exterior looks like a barn, the interior is ventilated with all the modern amenities you could possibly need.

The manor is ready to assist you whether you want an indoor or outdoor reception. For those who want to keep things outdoors, you can speak to the venue, and they can set up your reception wherever you’d like. Most couples, however, choose to host their events indoors in the Chandelier Barn. This is a space unlike any other. The entire interior is wooden and matches the rustic barn theme. The accommodations, however, are anything but simple! There is a grand, split staircase where you can make your big entrance. You will be able to set up your guests in your preferred layout and still have plenty of space for dancing. At the end of the night, open up the barn doors so your guests can light sparklers. I wish you all the best!
