Sunshine, laughter, good food, good drinks, and lots of love are the words I would use to describe Jason and Molly’s Bluebird Manor wedding. In their words, they wanted to enjoy most of their day and truly be present and in the moment.
I could tell Jason was holding in the tears when he saw Molly walking down the aisle. And you can see the excitement on their faces throughout the day, especially Molly’s contagious smile. I especially love her personal touches; her earrings were custom-made for her by her cousin’s husband, and her florals were made by her sister-in-law. Their uncle officiated their wedding, and Molly made banana bread wedding favors for their guests. Molly’s grandma also played the piano during cocktail hour and they shared a unique sweet moment together.
From their wedding website, here is a little bit about their love story, and if you’d like to see more, check out their Engagement at Baker Park in Frederick.
“Molly and Jason’s story begins like most great love stories: with a global pandemic. As love in a time of COVID required, their first three dates took place over Zoom, followed by a few in-person dates confined to walks around the neighborhood or eating in Jason’s apartment. Then, because things were going well, the two decided to really turn up the heat by…both moving home with their parents?
Yes, it’s true, and while it might not have been the most romantic decision, the two continued to see each other every chance they could and forged a deep connection on multiple levels as the world around them continued to be shut down.
Finally, in March of 2021, Jason bought their current house and the two moved in together (with Molly unofficially living there full time over the spring and summer and then “officially” moving in in November 2021). Since then, Molly and Jason—along with their puppy Charlie—have built a life together filled with happiness, Molly’s delicious baking, and love. Molly and Jason are excited to get married and can’t wait to see what travel, adventure, and delicious food the future holds.”
