About The Raspberry Plain Manor Wedding Venue

16500 Agape Lane, Leesburg, Virginia 20176

Raspberry Plain Manor is a mansion that was constructed in the 18th century. Throughout its early years, the estate built up a rich legacy. A part of the property featured the first jail in Loudoun in 1754 after the county’s sheriff purchased the land. The site saw expansion under Founding Father George Manson IV and was then owned by U.S. Senator Stevens Thomas Mason. Over the years, it was passed between owners and was slowly transformed into the truly stunning estate we know today. It was purchased in 2016 by Antonio and Bobby Jo Cecchi, the same owners of Rose Hill Manor. The estate has received Couples’ Choice Awards from WeddingWire because of their dedication to throwing some pretty spectacular events!

Details of the Grounds

Whether you want a sun-filled outdoor wedding or a climate-controlled indoor ceremony, Raspberry Plain Manor has the perfect spot for you! The exterior gives you several spaces to host this part of the event. Some couples choose to use the front lawn and the house as a backdrop as they exchange vows. Others choose to use the back of the home, utilizing the paved patio for their guests and the garden pergola as their arbor.

The Grand Ballroom is the best option for indoor weddings. This stunning space features cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that invite in plenty of natural light. With its white walls, ceilings, and wooden floors, the venue will serve as a blank slate for your wedding decor.

Most couples choose to use the Grand Ballroom for their reception. The area gives you plenty of space to mingle with your guests until it’s time to head over to the dance floor. You can spend the evening dancing beneath crystal chandeliers while your DJ or live band plays off to the side. If you prefer an outdoor reception, you can speak to the venue about using an event tent on the patio.
