Details of the Grounds

For your wedding, you will have your choice of Milton Ridge locations so you can accommodate your party however you need. Couples looking for an indoor venue can use either the historic Chapel. This building was originally constructed in 1875 and then restored in 2002. It’s non-denominational and welcomes couples of every background and every tradition. This stunning space features off-white walls and white, gothic-style arches. It looks positively serene whether you want to dress it up with flowers or prefer to keep things the way they are. For those who would prefer an outdoor wedding, you can use the Patio. This area is paved and has the buildings as a backdrop for your ceremony. The area is right outside of the Reception Hall, giving you a convenient option if the weather doesn’t want to cooperate for your ceremony.

Most couples choose to use the Reception Hall for their reception. This area has pale walls and a cathedral ceiling with plenty of room for your party. The venue is exceptionally accommodating. If you would prefer to have your reception outdoors on the Patio, you can speak to them and see if they have options for this.

Other Special Spaces Around The Milton Ridge Wedding Venue

Milton Ridge recommends using the Patio for your wedding’s cocktail hour. You will be able to set up high-top tables across the area and let your guests wander around the gardens as they enjoy your signature cocktails.

One of the best things about this venue is their get ready suites. The 19th century Cabin has been transitioned into a space where both parties will have separate rooms to put on the finishing touches ahead of the ceremony. The upstairs has leather couches and video games so you can have a fun way to get out some of the nerves.

The venue can host up to 150 guests. They frequently host micro weddings and provide specialized packages for couples wanting to keep things a little more intimate.

While the venue has been fully modernized, the historic touches will shine through your ceremony. The Cabin features rustic wooden walls with thick plaster, and the exterior has a swing on the front porch. The Patio features a covered section with seating where your guests can escape the hot summer sun. The gardens have stairs where you can set up an arbor or let your guests explore. Both the Chapel and the Reception Hall are sun-soaked, with lots of windows letting in natural light.

Photography Opportunities

The cabin at Milton Ridge was renovated to be the optimal place for getting ready for your wedding pictures. Not only are there windows with natural light, but there is also a front porch swing you can use for individual portraits. You can also use it for a couple of portraits. The gardens are the perfect place for a first-look picture. The lush plants and the stone walls create a romantic backdrop for this important moment. The space will later serve as a great spot for group portraits. The landing of the stairs leading into the Chapel can be used for both couple and wedding party portraits.
