Manor Country Club dates back to the Roaring Twenties. The venue was built in 1922, just 14 miles away from the White House. The house was settled in the middle of over 400 acres and served as an inn for people looking for a place to stay for the weekend. The golf course was designed by the renowned architect William Flynn and was lovingly restored to become one of the best courses in the country. To this day, the club remains a beloved place with a strong family focus. It gives people a break from their bustling DC jobs and serves as a haven that will go out of its way to throw an unforgettable event. The wedding staff is exceptional, helping the venue receive the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice award three years in a row.

Details of the Grounds
This serene Manor Country Club venue allows you to host weddings both indoors and out. For couples who would prefer an indoor wedding, you can use the Ballroom. This elegant space features off-white walls with white chair rail molding and large windows that let in the views. The neutral details will blend in seamlessly with your wedding decor.
The meticulously kept grounds will serve as a gorgeous space for your outdoor ceremony. The land overlooks the rolling hills and towering trees. The venue will work with you to find the best space for this part of your day so you can have the right atmosphere.
Most couples choose to have an indoor reception inside the Ballroom. The room offers your guests plenty of space to move around and mingle. The venue has a dance floor that can be set up so your guests can party late into the night.
For those who prefer an outdoor reception, you can use the Pavillion. This covered outdoor space lets you get out in nature without worrying about concerns such as bugs or bad weather. The Pavilion also features a dance floor.
Other Special Spaces Of The Manor Country Club Wedding Venue
The Pavilion serves as the perfect place for your cocktail hour. Your guests will be able to enjoy signature cocktails as they get a premium view of the land. If you would prefer an indoor cocktail hour, the venue welcomes you to use their foyer.
The Manor Country Club has designated get-ready rooms you can use before your wedding. You will have a comfortable space where you can relax with your wedding party and put on all the finishing touches before it’s time for your ceremony to begin.
The venue is ready to host parties of all sizes. The Grand Ballroom will hold up to 280 seated guests. If you’re looking for a more intimate option, this room can be divided into three different spaces and will hold up to 60-80 seated guests. The Pavillion will host up to 125 seated guests.
The Grand Ballroom features white accents that stand crisp against the cream-colored paint. The rooms are lit up by elegant chandeliers, and a patterned tan and red carpet covers the floors. The ceiling is coffered, and there are arched doorways that lead from one room to the next. The exterior of the mansion is a pale brick with a balcony that overlooks the course. There are quiet pathways lined with shrubs taking you across the property.

The Manor Country Club has several spaces that serve as favorite spots for couples’ wedding portraits. One of the most beloved spaces is the grand staircase located in the foyer of the building. Not only can you use this for first-look portraits, but it also gives you a way to show off all the details of your gown. The back of the mansion features a balcony that is fully accessible. This is a fabulous space to steal a quiet kiss between the ceremony and the reception. The land surrounding the house is flat and accessible. You can use it for group pictures with your party as well as your family.
Wedding Details
The venue goes out of its way to give you all the accommodations you need for your wedding. When you book your event, you will be set up with their wedding specialist, who will help you plan every part of your day. You will also receive a day-of coordinator. The country club gives you exclusive use of the venue and only hosts one wedding a day. This lets them focus their attention on you the entire time! The venue has a team of expert caterers who will work with you to create your perfect meal. You’ll get a tasting ahead of your ceremony. They have butler-passed hors d’oeuvres for your cocktail hour. The venue uses cakes from SugarBakers Club and will work with you to make a creation worthy of your day. They will provide you with tables, chairs, plates, glassware, flatware, and floor-length linens.
