Baltimore, Maryland Wedding Venues

Baltimore is the ideal spot for people who love exciting urban environments with a touch of history. Because the city is located right next to the water, you will be able to find venues that take you as close to the banks as possible. As you move out of the heart of the city, you’ll be able to start finding historic mansions with lush gardens and high-end accommodations. Here are some of my favorite venues around Baltimore:

The Valley Country Club

The Valley Country Club is located near Towson. They have extensive, meticulously kept grounds that will give you a dreamy outdoor wedding. Afterward, you can head into the ballroom and have a truly unforgettable reception!

The George Peabody Library

The George Peabody Library through John Hopkins is a stunning space that is straight from a bibliophile’s dreams. The venue has six open tiers of books that have been collected throughout the centuries. Your wedding will take place on the bottom story with all the above floors on display.

The Winslow

The Winslow at the Parker Metal Factory is the perfect spot for an industrial wedding. This venue is a renovated factory with exposed brick and stone, as well as a mezzanine running throughout the entire main area.

Gramercy

Gramercy is a Stevenson mansion that has been decorated in a traditional Tudor style. It’s ideal for nature-filled garden weddings.

Grey Rock Mansion

Grey Rock Mansion is located in Pikesville. You can get married in the garden gazebo before it’s time to party in the ballroom.

Annapolis, Maryland Wedding Venues

Over the years, Annapolis has gained a reputation as a picturesque waterfront town. The area is full of beautiful buildings that were first constructed hundreds of years ago. As you walk down the streets, you will find colorful storefronts, 19th-century church steeples, and docked boats. Most wedding venues celebrate the proximity to the Chesapeake Bay and offer ceremony sites right next to the water. Here are some of the most popular Annapolis wedding venues!

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel

The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel sits right on the banks of the water. The rooms overlook the Chesapeake, and the pier gives you a place to exchange vows with the waves as your backdrop. They offer a ballroom for your reception.

London Town

London Town gives you the quintessential Annapolis experience. This once-bustling, soon-forgotten 18th-century town was recently renovated to host unique weddings. You will have multiple historic homes in the background as you exchange vows near the Bay.

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club offers all their views with a side of luxury! They will take on most of the planning duties and ensure you have a dreamy spot for your wedding.

Columbia, Maryland Wedding Venues

Columbia has become a convenient halfway point between Baltimore and Washington, DC. Because of its location, it’s become a favorite spot for couples trying to find an easy location for out-of-town guests. The town itself is absolutely beautiful. While it is the second most populated town in Maryland, it feels like a small town. The downtown was designed to be walkable, and you’ll be able to spend your wedding weekend checking out cafes and shops. Here are some of my favorite Columbia wedding destinations.

Historic Oakland

Historic Oakland is a mansion that has combined several classical architectural styles to make a simply stunning estate. There are several garden spots where you can have your ceremony. The lobby is a great place for your cocktail hour, and the ballroom will be the perfect spot for a reception.

Overhills Mansion

Overhills Mansion is a renovated mansion that specializes in some of the best food around! You’ll get to pick from moody parlors and lush gardens for your ceremony and reception.

Belmont Manor

Belmont Manor is a colonial home that has a truly impressive garden for ceremonies and receptions. You’ll have over 68 acres you can use for your event.

Turf Valley Resort

Turf Valley Resort is an all-inclusive spot that will make sure your wedding day is full of luxury. You can wed out on the expansive lawn with a fountain, adding to the ambiance. Your reception will take place in a ballroom.

Frederick, Maryland Wedding Venues

Frederick is another Maryland town that simply looks too good to be true! With this town, your guests will be right next to museums, restaurants, and boutiques. They have endless events going on throughout the year, giving your guests plenty to do while they’re in town. The wedding venues here tend to be historic mansions a short drive from the heart of the city. Here are three of the best!

Ceresville Mansion

Ceresville Mansion is a full-service venue that is nothing short of elegant! The interior has white walls with gilded features, and the outside has multiple gardens and a reflection pool.

The Overlooks

The Overlooks is actually two separate wedding venues owned by the same group. Couples wanting a quiet yet refined farmhouse with expansive fields can try Walker’s Overlook. If you want to go all in with your barn wedding but keep the modern accommodations, Dulaney’s Overlook is the spot for you.

Glen Ellen Farm

Glen Ellen Farm is an outdoor wedding venue with several spots for your wedding. You will have a scenic farmhouse as a backdrop, and you can use it to get ready ahead of your event.
